I’ll be explaining the Japanese superhero movie “Inuyashiki” today. Spoilers ahead!! Ichiro Inuyashiki is a typical salaryman trying his best to maintain the happiness of his family. But his family frequently treats him like trash and takes all of his work for granted. For their benefit, Ichiro just just purchased a new home in a better area. His son Takeshi and daughter Mari are thrilled to see a large mansion and believe it to be their own. They eagerly attempt to enter it but are informed that their house is the small one next to it. Ichiro did the best he could with the money he had been saving for years, but the kids don’t seem to mind.

He says he bought their favorite meal in an effort to lighten the mood, but no one seemed to pay any attention. Ichiro is left alone to eat dinner alone while others go out to dinner instead. Ichiro works late one day and arrives home late. He observes a group of muggers assaulting a man for money in a shadowy alleyway.Thoughts of assisting the man cross his mind, but he is too timid to act on them.Just as he turns back, he notices Mari disapprovingly observing him. Before stomping off, she calls him out for being a filthy coward. Ichiro sits in front of their house at home, reflecting on his life. A dog that wants to pet him suddenly approaches.

“Her name is Hanako, please take care of her,” is written on its collar. Ichiro feels bad for the dog, but his wife urges him to put the animal down. She also gives him his medical report, which indicates that he need another examination. Ichiro visits the hospital the following day and learns he has third-stage cancer. Given that it has spread throughout his body, he only has a few months to live. In shock over the news, he calls his wife, but she cuts him off before he can tell her, and neither of his kids even answer their phones. Later, while Ichiro walks Hanako, he muses over whether his family will shed any tears upon learning of his cancer.

He hurries away to a park after leaving Hanako by the side of the road with a heavy heart. The animal surprises him by following him there. Ichiro apologizes to the dog while crying because he realizes that he is the only one who cares for him.He observes another man sitting on a park bench in front of him after a brief interval.A brilliant light flashes in the sky abruptly and keeps growing. Ichiro and the man next to him are struck by a massive object that descends from the sky, instantly killing them. But the following morning, Ichiro awakens in the park, just where he had landed the day before.Hanako is lying on the ground next to him.

He goes to pick up his glasses but finds that he can see just fine without them. He carries on with his day because he is unsure of what to do. At home, he vomits out the breakfast he just ate as his hand transforms into a weapon-like contraption. He is even more terrified when the electric system in his skull is shown as his face starts to fall apart. His entire body transforms into a machine one by one.It turns out that Ichiro died last night as a result of the odd object. The spacemen who were piloting the object made a mistake. So they rebuilt him as an emotional machine. He now has the strength of any machine in the world, along with superhuman strength.
