Two kids are seen fleeing from someone as the movie opens. Then a little boy emerges in front of them out of nowhere and shoots one of them. A scenario with a youngster named “Tim” and a psychiatrist is shown, and the scene before that was the boy’s dream. He was informed by the “Psychiatrist” that this dream is related to his past. Tim was in jail because he had committed a crime as a young child. After 11 years, he was finally liberated. The older sister of “Tim,” “Kaylie,” is displayed. She participates in an auction with her fiancé.
Currently, an antique mirror was up for auction. People came to an auction house to purchase an antique mirror. “Kaylie” leaves the prison to pick up her brother after being released. After lunch, “Kaylie” extends an invitation to “Tim” to move in with her. During lunch, they were discussing a secret promise. “Kaylie” was reminding her brother to keep his word. Tim was arguing that this was pointless when “Kaylie” dropped him off at his hotel, and we later learned that they had been discussing smashing a mirror. “Kaylie” was admonishing her brother for breaching his pledge and claiming to have a mirror to do so.
If you want, you can help me out. Here, the action switches to a scene from 11 years earlier, when the siblings are younger. They and their parents move into a new home. Here is a picture of the “Antique Mirror” from the auction. When making the purchase, their mother stored it at her house. Perhaps they were discussing this mirror in the film. Something odd happened to their mother when she approached the front of the mirror. On the other side, the wounds on her body were enormous; odd things were occurring to their father.
In his home, he could hear voices other than those of his family members. The current scene is then displayed in the film. In her dream, “Kaylie’s” father attacked her in front of the mirror. She is frightened by this dream. The following morning, “Kaylie” brings the mirror to her home, where she has lived all of her life. Here, “Kaylie” answers “Tim’s” call. He’ll aid her in her endeavour. The movie’s historical sequences are portrayed from where she begs him to meet her at their old home. the scene from eleven years ago. After the mirror came, “Tim’s” mother has been noticing dying plants in their home.
Tim and Kaylie are seen having fun on the ground, when Kaylie notices a girl in the office that was built in their home. Their mother wasn’t her. She queries her father regarding her. Her father claims he doesn’t know any girls and won’t tell her about the girl. No girls were brought to the house by him. Later, it is revealed that “Kaylie” and “Tim” are moving inside their old home with the mirror. There, “Kaylie” created a sophisticated system. “Kaylie” explains throughout the video footage that she has installed cameras and alarms in her home. She has used it to set an anchor in a hidden room; if it is not reset in the next 30 minutes, the mirror will be broken.
It indicates that the anchor will be positioned in front of the mirror. They had planned ahead. If they were to pass away yet manage to damage the mirror. What motivates them to do this? because “Kaylie” believes the mirror to be possessed. She will show the world that this mirror is haunted. She wants to smash the mirror at the same time. She placed various animals around the mirror-like plants and dogs while narrating the history of the area. She was speaking to the man who had bought the mirror, given it the name “Lasser Glass,” and installed it above the fireplace in his home. The man died as a result of fire a few days after placing the mirror. The unsettling part was when his servants claimed to have seen him in the mirror after his passing.

After all of this, “Kaylie” was telling the camera that the mirror had been sold at auction. A different man bought it. The man was chubby and overweight at the time he made the purchase. He loses weight after getting the mirror. Similar to how he passes away one day, the mirror later reaches another woman while she is shopping. She had put it in her bathroom and passed away there. The mirror finally reaches a woman after taking many lives. It is now in the lady’s bedroom. After hanging the mirror in the house, she passes away. This mirror continues on till it reaches “Kaylie” and “Tim “‘s” home. In the mirror, “Kaylie” was reciting this narrative, but “Tim” scoffed at it. He questions why we didn’t smash the mirror if it were this bad.
She instructs “Tim” to go break the mirror in order to demonstrate what she claimed. Tim tries to break the mirror while holding a stool, but he is unsuccessful. He warns his sister that she will be held responsible if he breaks the mirror. Look, I’ve proven what I stated, “Kaylie” says. You changed your mind as you approached the mirror. She claims that a person’s mind may be controlled by a mirror. She has set up a mechanical anchor to shatter the mirror because of this. She was announcing to her brother that she had a strategy in place to destroy this mirror. She has instructed her fiancé to contact her every hour and informs him that she requested this so that if we do not return the call, he will come for assistance. perhaps we will be in trouble at that time.
The scene from 11 years ago is being shown once more. Tim and Kaylie were younger children. Even though his hand was bandaged, their father started working anyhow. He observes the badge on his palm once more. The man is seen seated in front of a mirror. He mistakenly pulled his nail out while removing the bandage because he was tired of it. Tim’s father is seen conversing with someone in his office that evening, but when his wife shows up and asks who he was speaking with, there is no one there. He doesn’t respond, and they start to argue.
The following day, “Tim’s” dog is seen tease his mother and barking while in the mirror room, where its mother has confined it. When they open the door, they see the dog lying sick inside. The dog passes away after a couple of days. The current scene is later seen in the film. A dog has been placed in front of the mirror by “Kaylie”. To demonstrate that the dog’s death was caused by the mirror rather than illness. Tim informs Kaylie that this is going through your head since you are ill. He comments that this might be a hallucination before leaving the dog in front of the mirror.
Kaylie had the impression that Tim might be correct. She has had a lot of suffering in her life; perhaps this is the result. Now that she had begun to believe “Tim,” they once more enter the mirror room while conversing. They are surprised to see the room’s plants dying. There were two cameras in the room facing one another. They realise the siblings have done this after seeing the video, which indicates they weren’t recording the mirror. They could not recall anything other than the time they had done this. “Kaylie” claims that I was expressing that I was fine and that this mirror had once more performed mind tricks on us. Tim, who was having trouble understanding, eventually quits his home.
He makes another call to his psychiatrist but is soon inside the house. With all of this in mind, “Kaylie” has realised they are the mirror’s newest prey. She warns “Tim” to exercise caution. She believes that the mirror may damage them and force them to do anything. There are conflicts in their family, as seen in the previous scene. Also, their romance was destroyed. As both of their parents were impacted, their mother suspects “Tim’s” father of lying to her. She checks in at her husband’s office space. She notices a girl’s name scrawled multiple times on a piece of paper. The girl in front of them holding the mirror was this. The girl was gone, and maybe you can still see her in the mirror.
She was spotted by “Kaylie” in her father’s workplace. As “Kaylie’s” mother realises everything, she tries to smash the mirror. The mirror is still there, and it now belongs to “Kaylie’s” mother. In front of the mirror, she opens her top, revealing that her tummy was bleeding. She was possessed by the mirror and was about to murder her kids. To get away from their mother, they barricade themselves in a room. Their father arrives there in the interim. He had confined his wife in a room after realising the situation. His children are not allowed to visit their mother. In their home, the days were passing in an odd way.
Because their father always stands in front of the mirror, the grocery was also finished in their home. He speaks to the mirror as though someone is responding to him from within. When her father refused to take her to the doctor, “Kaylie” was concerned about her mother. Concerned, “Kaylie” visits her mother, but she was in worse shape than she had been. She assaults her daughter once more. “Kaylie” exits her room and locks it once more. The current scene is later replayed in the film. She turns on the torches because “Kaylie’s” house is now without light. She does this and comes home to a broken plate.
She was concerned about how a dish could break in this location. With the help of his portable light, she notices the plate but discovers nothing. She now thinks that this mirror is doing all of these things. She is startled as her mother’s corpse approaches from the front. “Kaylie” gave her the opportunity to flee by using a broken piece of the plate. When she comes to, she realises that the person was actually her fiance, whom she had broken up with. When Tim notices this, he drags his sister outside. He dials the cops and the ambulance. Tim also thinks that the mirror is responsible for all of this. He requests that his sister leave the house.
He claims that the anchor you set will cause the mirror to break on its own. The light appears as he says this. Inside the house, they could see others who resembled them. Upon seeing them, they became frightened. Although “Kaylie” believes they are still inside the house, “Tim” said that the mirror was showing them this. They are only dreaming that they are leaving the house. They are actually inside the house, and the mirror wants to put an end to them. They move inside the house, perplexed. They recognise the girl whose soul was captured in the mirror as the one their father used to speak with.
He was stating I have forbade you from playing here in her odd voice. The current scene is cut off to reveal the previous one. Their father has given their mother permission to leave the room. She was advancing on her children. Kaylie tells her brother to leave, and I’ll divert the mother. While distracting her, “Kaylie” locks her mother before leaping out the window. The soul of “Tim’s” father is displayed in front of him in the current situation. Tim didn’t leave the house, as seen in the previous scene. “Kaylie” tries to bring her brother inside the house once more, but her mother once more grabs hold of her. As her father arrived, he cut off her mother while she was pushing her neck.
The horrified siblings were attempting to smash the mirror. “Kaylie’s” father approaches her from behind to put an end to her because she broke the mirror. Tim prevents him from doing this and, in an effort to protect his sister, picks up the gun and points it at his father. Strangely, “Tim” was going to kill his father, but instead, he pulls the trigger and kills himself. He has instructed his children to leave the house before passing away. The police showed just as they were leaving, and they detained “Tim” for killing his father. Tim is seen in front of the mirror and turns hostile against it in the current scenario while thinking back to the past. He then clicks the anchor button right away.
Thus, the mirror will be broken by the anchor. Tim’s sister moves in front of the anchor as it moves. He was unable to see anyone in front of him. The mirror displayed everything. which the mirror did not reflect. While his sister was standing in front of the mirror, the police arrived. Tim is required to serve another jail sentence. He has now committed his sister’s murder. The previous scene, in which “Tim” sees his deceased parents in the window, is displayed. Tim is viewing the identical scene he witnessed in the past when the scene changes to the present. Tim and Kaylie didn’t come out on top in this mirror when he was viewing his sister and parents, whom he has since broken up with. Once more, their family was destroyed. This is where the film finishes.
