Shawn Levy’s time-traveling action movie The Adam Project was released in 2022. The main character of the story is a man who goes back in time but unintentionally lands in the incorrect year, where he meets his younger self. The two work together to prevent the future from happening. Although the movie’s time travel premise is illogical, the smart humour keeps it intriguing. Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, and Catherine Keener are among the film’s large ensemble cast. Walker Scobell did a fantastic job portraying young Adam. Following 13 Going On 30, Jennifer and Mark reconnected after 18 years apart, much as in the movie. There will be spoilers in this explanation of The Adam Project’s plot and conclusion.

What Is Fixed Time According to The Adam Project?
Lazy writing looks to have followed Ryan into this film because of all the time travel themes, just as Deadpool calls it out in his film (but it is compensated with the witty dialogues). Young Adam in The Adam Project makes a good argument when he wonders if the older Adam remembers running into him years before. Old Adam is unable to. Young Adam queries whether Old Adam is from a Parallel World in the future (like we saw in Avengers: Endgame). He is chastised by Old Adam for watching too many movies, he claims.
Then Old Adam reveals that every individual has a fixed time that they are a part of at every biological age. Why does this matter? If a person is born in the year 2000, they are linked to time beginning in that year. The year 2002 is the person’s Fixed Time when they turn two.
Adam has left his position at a quantum level when he leaves his Fixed Time, 2050, and travels elsewhere. His memory of the events in 2022 will not be altered until he returns to his Fixed Time. And for this reason, old Adam has no recollection of ever having encountered himself when he was a small lad. Old Adam will have a different set of memories that correlate to the changed events when he returns to his Fixed Time, replacing the old ones.
The movie constantly shoots itself in the groyne with the Grandfather Paradox while this made-up notion is still new.

How Did The Dad Pass Away? – The Adam Project
A automobile accident results in the father’s death. A true mishap, unrelated to Sorian or any other time traveller. And the father perishes as a result of the identical accident in every timeline in the movie. The accident is not essential to the plot, but because everyone seemed to have a pressing inquiry, it was best to address it right away.

Who is Sorian in Timeline 1? What is she seeking?
The father’s partner, Sorian, provides financial support for his wormhole research. Time travel is unintentionally discovered as a result of this research. The movie omits showing Timeline-1. Timeline 3| What motivates Adam to take that jet?
Old Adam takes a jump jet to travel to 2018 in search of Laura after sensing something strange about her death. He enters the incorrect time coordinates as a result of being shot during the process and ends up in 2022. He goes to his old house, the only place he can recall. He tells Adam the boy his secrets and tends to his wounds. Timeline-3 is the result of Old Adam’s interference with history.
With a squad, Sorian travels to 2022 and detains Adam the Elder. Laura, who lived in the past from 2018 to 2022, was always watching for the arrival of old Adam. She appears and aids in the destruction of Sorian’s troops, who flee. Laura argues that old Adam returning to 2018 and stopping the development of time travel is the only way they can put an end to the temporal tumult. The Grandfather Paradox causes the film to start shooting itself with a loud bang. Old Adam is opposed to the concept since, if it is implemented, he and Laura will never meet.

To warn young Sorien that the Adams are attempting to prevent her from realising her potential, old Sorien follows the Adams to 2018 and encounters young Sorien. Timeline-3 is a branch of Timeline-2, not Timeline-1, as we must comprehend (see the diagram). Young Sorien had previously met an Old Sorien from Timeline-1 two months prior, and he had given her enough information to change her life. Dad explains that they must destroy the neuromorphic processor made of diamonds (a fancy hard drive). Young Adam is being kept prisoner by old and young Sorien, who arrive before they can. Adam the youngster pushes the gun away, and a stray bullet hits the seal of the electromagnet.
Since Sorien is still a child and not yet evil, he cannot shoot his father and seize the hard drive. Sorien the elder orders Sorien the younger to back off as she fires at her father. Sadly, the magnetic changes the trajectory of the bullet and kills young Sorien in its place. Old-Sorien is no longer a part of this timeline as a result of this incident, and she vanishes. Consider this regarding Laura. Recall that she said she was waiting for Adam in 2018 in her statement. I don’t know why she wasn’t included in the climax. It would have made sense if Laura had found Adam and joined him for the conclusion given that she was present in 2018 and keeping an eye out for him.

The Adam Project’s climax reveals that the two Adams have built a new timeline without the time machine. But, Adam’s father perishes in the collision and echoes continue to affect others living in this era. Finally, in 2022, young Adam feels the urge to tightly hug his mother as instructed by his elder self. Old Adam and Laura also cross paths in a separate class in the future. The same sequence of events—Laura entering the wrong class, running into Adam, who offers to go with her—appears to have occurred again according to fate. The two begin their wonderful lives together after experiencing an unexplainable feeling (called a “echo”) for one another.
Did Sorian murder the father?
No, Sorian did not murder the father. Even though the movie downplays the incident, it is still reasonable to wonder how the Adams can be certain that Sorian did not deliberately cause the vehicle collision. The time machine is destroyed in the climax, which results in the death of young Sorian. In spite of this, Timeline -4, the end timeline, shows the father to be dead. And because of that, we can be certain that the dad’s murder was not planned.
