Hector claims he believed he killed Ravi when he was old enough to attack him and maybe kill him.

This doesn’t make any sense, to be honest. Given that Hector was a young boy who visited his family throughout the summer, it would have been difficult for him to murder [his father and] Ravi in some way without any evidence pointing to him. Hector could not have been a judge because his record would have been tarnished if he had assaulted Ravi and mutilated his face without killing him.

Why does Hector commit murder?

Hector seeks retribution. In every gay person seeking refuge, he sees Ravi. He presents himself as someone who is helping these people, but in reality he is a serial killer who kills them.

As a judge, Hector learned throughout the years about numerous estranged persons who, in the event of their disappearance, wouldn’t be looked for. They were abducted by Hector, who then tortured them, killed them, and flushed their remains down the toilet.
